Job summary

Robert's Tours & Trans Inc. is seeking an operations dispatcher to ensure daily service delivery for Hele-On Fixed Route operations in Hawaii.

You will coordinate drivers, monitor routes, and maintain documentation to support on-time, safe transportation for customers and staff across multiple routes. The role requires strong scheduling, data entry, and communication skills, plus experience with dispatch systems and routine reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the Island of Hawaii geography and transit routes.
• Minimum one year experience in tourism/transportation field.
• Experience working with database systems; dispatch software preferred.
• Ability to type 40 WPM on average.
• Ability to perform 10-key by touch.
• Must be flexible and able to adapt to operational procedures as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Drivers to ensure on-time service delivery.
• Review driver and vehicle qualifications; plan for adequate timing.
• Maintain DOT and driver documents; schedule appointments and file paperwork.
• Monitor Driver schedules and on-time performance; update systems.
• Manage daily logs: rider counts, out-of-service and in-service logs, route times.
• Prepare and reconcile driver trip sheets; input driver time and mileage.
• Communicate route changes and surges to drivers; re-route as needed.
• Maintain office and routing administration, reports, and invoicing.
