35 hours per week - Monday-Friday

Performance Responsibilities

• Assist school bus driver in maintaining order and discipline for special needs students.
• Ability to tie-down wheelchairs and use other special needs restraints.
• Safeguard supplies and equipment.
• Help prepare and clean vehicles.
• Communicate professionally with staff.
• Provide departmental reports as needed.
• Report accidents, vehicle damage, and student injuries.
• Willingness to work split shifts.
• Attend mandatory meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

Regular standing, walking, talking, hearing, physical exertion including running, jumping, climbing, tugging, lifting up to 50 pounds, and specific vision abilities.

Work Environment

Exposure to weather conditions, moderate noise level, and potential for wet/humid conditions.
