Job summary

New Flyer is a leader in heavy-duty transit buses in North America. This role focuses on assembling and installing on coaches, working Monday to Friday with overtime on Saturdays as needed.

You will use blueprints, process sheets, and measurement tools, maintain a safe workspace, and participate in continuous learning. Immediate benefits, 401K, and advancement opportunities accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow intermediate measurements and instructions with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Comfort using hand and power tools in a production environment.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working in a fast-paced team setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs all installations and/or assemblies on the production line within a specified work area.
• Prepares work by reviewing instructions, parts lists, and pull subassemblies and tools.
• Maintains quality and consistency in installations and assemblies.
• Follows blueprints, process sheets, and written instructions and uses measuring tools and basic math.
