Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in High Point, NC is seeking an assembler to perform physically demanding manufacturing duties, mass-produce bus components and assemble sub-assemblies required for buses. You will use hand tools, adhesive dispensing equipment, forming machines, and fixtures to complete mechanical, electrical and structural assemblies.

Work in a LEAN environment with safety protocols, access drawings/BOMs, and complete tasks per schedules with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Attached resume required
• Must work successfully in a team environment
• Must have good command of the English language, both written and verbal
• Able to work during 3rd shift

Responsibilities

• Mass-produce bus components or assemble components into a completed bus
• Use hand tools, dispensing equipment, forming machines and fixtures to complete assemblies
• Access company data via computer systems and use drawings/BOM/spec sheets
• Follow manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow safety protocols
• Work in a LEAN environment and participate in daily continuous improvement
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools/equipment as required
• Kitting of products, material and supplies
