Job summary

Thomas Built Buses, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician for the 2nd/3rd shift to perform manufacturing duties, assembling bus components and sub-assemblies on a busy line.

You will use hand tools, forming machines and adhesive dispensing equipment while following standardized work procedures. Responsibilities include reading drawings and BOMs, maintaining a clean work area, and performing preventative maintenance as required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Strong command of English, written and verbal.
• Able to perform physically demanding manufacturing duties.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools and equipment to assemble bus components.
• Read drawings and BOMs to guide assembly work.
• Follow lean process and maintain a clean work area.
• Participate in preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
