Job summary

MetroHealth's Burn Intensive Care Unit (3 West) seeks a registered nurse to provide specialized care to adult and pediatric burn patients. You will handle sterile dressing changes, infection prevention, and complex wound care while coordinating with physicians, respiratory therapy, and support staff.

Qualified candidates hold Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS; PRN experience is required and BSN or Magnet credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school's nursing program with RN licensure in Ohio.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certified or obtained within 6 months.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience; ACS/ Magnet credentials preferred.
• BSN and Magnet-certified candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Care for adult and pediatric burn patients in a 8-bed Burn ICU setting.
• Manage hemodynamic instability, sterile dressing changes, and infection prevention.
• Operate and monitor devices: ventilators, CRRT, surgical drains; collaborate with team.
