Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus – Burn Intensive Care Unit (3 West) in Ohio seeks an RN for rotating shifts totaling 72 hours bi-weekly (7a-7p/7p-7a) with weekends and holidays on rotation. The role serves adults and pediatrics with severe burns, frostbite, and related conditions, using advanced monitoring and wound-care skills.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program and Ohio RN licensure; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (ACLS/PALS within 6 months). Preferred BSN.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certs or obtained within 6 months.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Care for hemodynamic instabilities.
• Sterile dressing changes and infection prevention.
• Complex wound care and management of surgical drains, ventilators, CRRT.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, Trauma/Burn Surgeons, Respiratory Therapy.
