Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a Burn ICU Float Pool Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ICU setting. The RN collaborates with clinicians to assess, treat, teach, and manage patients according to established standards.

Required qualifications include ACLS and BLS within 30 days of start date, an RN license, and either an Associate or Bachelor’s degree with about 1 year of critical care experience, preferably in burn care.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Critical Care experience is required, preferably in a burn area.
• ACLS and BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN – Registered Nurse with appropriate state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other patient care tasks as ordered by physicians.
• Documents care in the patient record promptly and thoroughly.
• Educates patients and families about condition, treatment plan, and follow-up steps.
• Collaborates with the care team to coordinate, evaluate and adjust treatment plans.
