Job summary

UNC Health in Chapel Hill, NC seeks a Burn Program Director to provide executive leadership for the NC Jaycee Burn Program. The role spans administration, strategy, finances, and growth of the Burn Division across clinical, aftercare, outreach, prevention, education, quality, and research.

Reporting to SOM Surgery leadership, you will guide multidisciplinary teams, maintain verification readiness, and ensure high-quality, patient-centered burn care while advancing research and outcomes within a

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Health or related field.
Five (5) years of administrative or business management experience, preferably supervisory.
Knowledge of accreditation, quality and performance improvement concepts.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction for the Burn Program across clinical, education, outreach and aftercare.
Develop strategic priorities to drive Burn Center growth and patient care excellence.
Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and stakeholders to identify growth opportunities.
Set operational goals, measures, and reporting to support continuous improvement.
Manage the Burn Program budget and fiscal stewardship.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Oversee Burn Registry data collection, reporting and submission activities.
Support burn-related research with physicians and institutional partners.
