Job description

Join us as a Burger King Shift Leader at GPS Hospitality

We are seeking a Shift Leader to join our restaurant team. Shift Leaders are trained to perform all duties of Team Members, with additional responsibilities for directing daily restaurant operations in the absence of the Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with company standards in product preparation, customer relations, restaurant maintenance, team management, and other duties as assigned.

Job Duties

1. Ensure your team provides outstanding service and satisfied guests
2. Train and coach team members
3. Utilize GPS Hospitality Systems to run a successful restaurant every shift
4. Maintain a high level of proficiency in restaurant operations and set an example for the team
5. Provide coaching and feedback to team members
6. Supervise in accordance with GPS values, traits, and behaviors
7. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
8. Follow and enforce all cash policies; address and document violations
9. Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant General Manager

Job Requirements

• 0-2 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume environment
• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the US

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform motions such as bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, and reaching
• Ability to work in warm and cold temperatures
• Stand for 8-10 hours
• Lift up to 20 lbs
