Burger King Restaurant Assistant Manager

Join to apply for the Burger King Restaurant Assistant Manager role at GPS Hospitality.

We are seeking Restaurant Assistant Managers (RAM) to join our team. Our restaurants are staffed with amazing people, and we are looking to expand our team. The RAM supports the Restaurant General Manager in developing a dedicated team, delivering excellent guest experiences, and achieving top-line sales. This is accomplished through effective learning, managing, and teaching restaurant systems to meet goals, develop staff, and provide outstanding service. RAMs are eligible for bonuses based on operational and financial performance.

Job Duties
  1. Ensure your team provides outstanding service and satisfies guests.
  2. Train and coach team members.
  3. Utilize GPS Hospitality Systems to efficiently run the restaurant during every shift.
  4. Implement restaurant controls, especially cash handling and inventory management.
  5. Set and achieve restaurant goals related to service, operations, and financial results.
  6. Maintain operational standards, including speed of service, food safety, and cleanliness.
  7. Monitor food and labor variances and take corrective actions to improve results.
  8. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  9. Work all shifts as required by the business.
  10. Lead by example with excellent knowledge and proficiency in restaurant operations.
  11. Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members.
  12. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
  13. Follow all government regulations, employment laws, food safety policies, and implement accounting controls.
  14. Perform any other duties assigned by the Restaurant General Manager.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform motions such as bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, and reaching.
  • Ability to work in warm and cold temperatures.
  • Stand for 8-10 hours.
  • Lift up to 20 lbs.
Job Requirements
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume environment.
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US.
  • ServSafe certification preferred.
