Burger King Restaurant Assistant Manager

Join us as a Restaurant Assistant Manager at GPS Hospitality.

Position Overview

We are seeking motivated Restaurant Assistant Managers (RAM) to support our team. The RAM assists the Restaurant General Manager in developing a dedicated team, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and achieving sales targets. This role involves managing restaurant systems effectively, developing staff, and ensuring excellent service. Performance bonuses are available based on operational and financial results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure outstanding service and guest satisfaction
  • Train and coach team members
  • Use GPS Hospitality Systems to manage daily operations
  • Implement controls for cash and inventory management
  • Set and achieve goals related to service, operations, and finances
  • Maintain operational standards including speed, safety, and cleanliness
  • Manage food and labor costs, taking corrective actions as needed
  • Maintain a safe, clean working environment
  • Work various shifts as required
  • Lead by example with strong operational knowledge
  • Provide feedback and coaching to staff
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills
  • Comply with all regulations and policies
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by the RGM
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to bend, squat, twist, pull, reach
  • Work in warm and cold environments
  • Stand for 8-10 hours
  • Lift up to 20 lbs
Job Requirements
  • 1-3 years supervisory experience in restaurant or retail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume setting
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
  • At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US
  • ServSafe certification preferred
