Burger King Restaurant Assistant Manager

Join us as a Restaurant Assistant Manager at GPS Hospitality.

Overview

We are seeking dedicated Restaurant Assistant Managers (RAM) to join our team. The RAM supports the Restaurant General Manager in developing a team, delivering excellent guest experiences, and achieving sales goals. The role involves learning, managing, and teaching restaurant systems to ensure operational success, team development, and exceptional service. RAMs are rewarded with bonuses based on performance, both operationally and financially.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure outstanding service and guest satisfaction
• Train and coach team members
• Utilize GPS Hospitality Systems to manage daily restaurant operations
• Implement controls for cash and inventory management
• Set and meet goals for service, operations, and financial results
• Maintain standards for speed, food safety, and cleanliness
• Address variances in food and labor costs and improve results
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Work various shifts as needed
• Demonstrate operational proficiency and leadership
• Provide feedback and coaching to team members
• Resolve problems effectively
• Follow all regulations, policies, and controls
• Perform other duties as assigned by the RGM

Physical and Job Requirements

• Ability to perform motions such as bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, and reaching
• Work in warm and cold temperatures
• Stand for 8-10 hours
• Lift up to 20 lbs

• 1-3 years supervisory experience in restaurant or retail
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to perform under pressure in high-volume settings
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US
• ServSafe certification preferred
