Burger King Restaurant Assistant Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking Restaurant Assistant Managers (RAM) to join our team. Our restaurants are staffed with dedicated and talented individuals, and we are looking to expand this team. The RAM supports the Restaurant General Manager in developing a team, delivering excellent guest experiences, and achieving sales targets. This role involves learning, managing, and teaching restaurant systems to meet goals, develop staff, and ensure top service. RAMs are eligible for bonuses based on operational and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure outstanding service and guest satisfaction
  • Train and coach team members
  • Utilize GPS Hospitality Systems to manage daily operations
  • Implement controls for cash and inventory management
  • Set and achieve goals related to service, operations, and finances
  • Maintain operational standards including speed, safety, and cleanliness
  • Manage food and labor costs, taking corrective actions as needed
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Work various shifts as required
  • Demonstrate proficiency in restaurant operations and serve as a role model
  • Provide feedback and coaching to staff
  • Apply problem-solving skills effectively
  • Comply with all regulations, laws, and policies, including accounting controls
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant General Manager
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform motions such as bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, and reaching
  • Work in varying temperatures
  • Stand for 8-10 hours
  • Lift up to 20 lbs
Job Requirements
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume setting
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
  • At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US
  • ServSafe certification preferred
