Job description

We are looking for Restaurant Assistant Managers (RAM) to join our team. Our restaurants are staffed with amazing people, and we are looking for more. The RAM supports the Restaurant General Manager in developing a team of dedicated staff, delivering great guest experiences, and achieving top-line sales. They do this by learning, managing, and teaching restaurant systems effectively to meet goals, develop staff, and provide excellent service. RAMs are bonus-eligible based on operational and financial performance.
Job Duties:
  1. Ensure your team provides outstanding service and satisfies guests.
  2. Train and coach team members.
  3. Utilize GPS Hospitality Systems to run a great restaurant every shift, every day.
  4. Implement restaurant controls, especially cash and inventory management.
  5. Set and meet restaurant goals for service, operations, and financial results.
  6. Maintain operational standards, including speed of service, food safety, and cleanliness.
  7. Manage food and labor variances and take actions to improve results.
  8. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  9. Work all shifts as required by the business.
  10. Set an example by maintaining excellent knowledge and proficiency in restaurant operations.
  11. Provide feedback and coaching to the team.
  12. Demonstrate problem-solving skills.
  13. Follow all government regulations, employment laws, food safety, and operational policies; implement all accounting controls.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant General Manager.
Physical Requirements:
  1. Ability to perform motions such as bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, and reaching.
  2. Ability to work in warm and cold temperatures.
  3. Stand for 8-10 hours.
  4. Lift up to 20 lbs.
Job Requirements:
  1. 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting.
  2. Excellent customer service skills.
  3. Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume setting.
  4. Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
  5. Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US.
  6. ServSafe certification preferred.
