Burger King Restaurant Assistant Manager

Join to apply for the Burger King Restaurant Assistant Manager role at GPS Hospitality.

We are seeking Restaurant Assistant Managers (RAM) to join our team. Our restaurants are staffed with amazing people, and we are looking for more. The RAM supports the Restaurant General Manager in developing a dedicated team, delivering excellent guest experiences, and increasing top-line sales. This is achieved through effective learning, management, and teaching of restaurant systems to meet goals, develop staff, and ensure excellent service. RAMs are rewarded with bonuses based on operational and financial performance.

Job Duties
  • Ensure your team provides outstanding service and satisfies guests
  • Train and coach team members
  • Utilize GPS Hospitality Systems to operate the restaurant effectively each shift
  • Implement restaurant controls, including cash handling and inventory management
  • Set and achieve goals for service, operations, and financial results
  • Maintain operational standards such as speed of service, food safety, and cleanliness
  • Manage food and labor variances and take corrective actions
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Work all shifts as required by the business
  • Exemplify high proficiency in restaurant operations
  • Provide feedback and coaching to team members
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills
  • Follow all regulations, laws, policies, and controls
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant General Manager
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform motions such as bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, and reaching
  • Ability to work in warm and cold temperatures
  • Stand for 8-10 hours
  • Lift up to 20 lbs
Job Requirements
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume environment
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
  • At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US
  • ServSafe certification preferred
