Shirley Contracting is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to work on Southern Virginia job sites year-round. You will operate excavators, loaders, dozers and motor graders, perform daily maintenance, and keep equipment clean.
The role requires outdoor work in all seasons, ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening, and a willingness to perform manual tasks to support projects. Start times vary 6:00–7:00 AM, with overtime, nights and weekends possible.

Applicants must be 18 years of age and currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis in order to be considered.
For this role the hourly range is $22.00-$35.00. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
