Job summary

Shirley Contracting Company, LLC is seeking candidates to operate heavy equipment at various job sites. The role requires experience with on-site heavy machinery and the ability to work outdoors in all seasons.

A pre-employment physical and drug screening are required, with an onsite try-out for equipment operation. The position offers full-time, year-round work with start times between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers and motor graders.

• Report deficiencies to foreman immediately.
• Must be willing to perform manual labor related tasks to support projects.
• Ensure the company's health and safety culture, policies and requirements are met.
• Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with customer and co-workers.

Applicants must be 18 years of age and currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis in order to be considered.

For this role the base hourly range is $22.00-$35.00 per hour. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
