Job summary

Shirley Contracting Company, LLC is seeking Bulldozer Operators to join our dirt and utility crews across multiple sites in the United States. This full-time, year-round role involves operating heavy equipment, performing routine maintenance and supporting safety practices on each project.

Starting times vary between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM; overtime, nights and weekends may be required. Candidates must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening and have experience with heavy equipment and

• Experience operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators and graders.
• GPS/UTS experience preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers and motor graders
• Perform general maintenance including greasing, checking fluid levels, and cleaning of tracks
• Daily cleaning of equipment
• Report deficiencies to Foreman immediately
• Must be willing to perform manual labor related tasks to support projects
• Ensure the company’s health and safety culture, policies and requirements are met
• Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with customer and co-workers

For this role the base hourly range is $22.00-$35.00. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
