Job summary

Cemex seeks a proactive Terminal Operator in Phoenix, AZ to support safe, efficient loading, unloading and shipment of bulk materials at our terminal, while upholding strict safety standards.

You will perform routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance, monitor material flow, coordinate with the logistics team to optimize schedules, serve as a contact for customers, and assist in training new team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in terminal operations or similar industrial setting is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Driving Operational Efficiency: Manage and optimize daily terminal operations for seamless logistics and customer service.
• Mastering Material Flow: Oversee safe loading/unloading of bulk materials following safety protocols.
• Maintaining Our Machinery: Perform routine inspections and maintenance on terminal equipment.
• Championing Safety: Adhere to PPE usage and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Delivering Outstanding Service: Act as a key point of contact for customers and resolve inquiries efficiently.
