Job summary

Roskam Foods in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is seeking a Receiving/Warehouse Associate to unload bulk materials, verify shipments, and maintain accurate inventory records.

You will label, inspect for quality and contamination risks, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and collaborate with production, QA, and procurement to support continuous improvement in logistics.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload bulk materials.
• Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
• Inspect incoming materials for quality, temperature, and contamination risks.
• Accurately record receiving data in inventory management systems.
• Tag and label received materials according to company protocols.
• Communicate discrepancies or damaged goods to the appropriate departments.
• Follow all GMP, HACCP, and food safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of receiving areas and equipment.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Coordinate with production, quality assurance, and procurement teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and warehouse operations.
