Job summary

ASR Group is seeking a Bulk Loader Supervisor in Baltimore, MD to directly supervise up to 30 unionized employees on rotating shifts. You will coordinate loading/unloading, enforce policies, and drive safety and efficiency in warehouse operations.

The role requires strong supervisory experience in high-volume settings, preferably with union teams and consumer goods distribution. A four-year degree is desirable; periodic overtime, including weekends, may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of supervisory experience in a high volume warehouse or equivalent military experience.
• 4-year degree highly desirable.
• Experience in a union environment preferred.
• Experience with consumer product goods / retail distribution preferred.
• Successful communication - written and verbal.
• Ability to establish priorities and multi-task.
• Experience with personal computers and materials handling equipment.
• Ability to understand, produce and explain reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate loading/unloading operations.
• Assign duties and ensures conformance to policies and procedures.
• Maintain a high level of interaction with all associates.
• Enforce company policies, and hold employees accountable.
• Maintain a continuous improvement philosophy.
• Pick and stage outbound shipments with high productivity and FIFO.
• Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Operate and supervise use of material handling equipment safely.
• Ensure shift schedules are correctly implemented and tasks completed.
• Maintain space utilization through warehouse consolidation.
• Lead operations with focus on safety.
• Assist in inventory integrity and physical inventories.
• Produce and analyze warehouse and distribution reports.
