Job summary

ASR Group is seeking a Bulk Loading Supervisor in Chalmette, LA to oversee rail car loading/unloading and Finishing operations. You will manage inventory, coordinate with customers, and ensure compliance with the labor contract while supervising union staff in a fast-paced plant.

The role requires GMP knowledge, ability to lift 50 lbs, and experience supervising union personnel. Associate's degree preferred; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Experience supervising union personnel.
• Ability to recognize different grades of sugar.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, stoop and climb as needed.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with conveying equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading/unloading of rail cars and Finishing department operations.
• Ensure inventory tracking and on-time deliveries; interface with customers.
• Maintain documentation and certifications; supervise union employees.
• Ensure area is audit ready and compliance with labor contract.
