Job summary

Plastic Express in Pooler, GA is seeking a Rail Operations Supervisor to oversee loadout, washout and rail activities in a safety‑sensitive production environment. You will coordinate maintenance, document procedures and lead a rail team under the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous rail and/or refinery experience preferred.
• Ability to pass Rail King and Rail Systems Training courses.
• Excellent interpersonal, communications, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work overtime, long hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 55 lbs and handling heavy loads.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Loadout/Washout operations and ensure safety and accuracy.
• Coordinate maintenance of loadout, wash and rail department equipment.
• Maintain pellet loading records and DCS/DCS-like procedures.
• Lead rail operations and communicate with rail crews and management.
• Supervise staff and coordinate with Transload and Bulk Trucking teams.
