Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson in Houston is seeking a Bulk Sales Rep to lead full cycle gas sales for liquids and tube trailers across oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, helium and related products. You'll support existing customers while developing new ones, reporting to the Region Bulk Gas Sales Manager.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and profitable growth of the territory, with 40–60% travel.

Qualifications

3 years related experience and/or training.
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups.

Responsibilities

Maintain high level of personal safety and regulatory compliance.
Drive profitable growth of the territory business.
Prospect for new business opportunities.
Negotiate new account and existing account contract renewals.
Manage existing business portfolio to maximize gross profit.
Provide first line product and application support to customers and prospects.
Coordinate and manage communication and support between Customer and MTG.
Report sales activity timely to sales management.
Identify package gas opportunities and hand-off to package counterpart.
Identify on site & pipeline opportunities and hand-off to On-Site Sales counterpart.
Support collections process as required.
Perform site surveys for new installations.
Value based selling skill set.
Price attainment initiatives.
Light work with territory travel 40-60%
