Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Encinitas is seeking a Bulk Clerk to maintain, pack, and stock bulk foods. You will package and label bulk items, fill bins, and ensure products are presented cleanly and accurately for hundreds of customers each week.

The role emphasizes safety, proper dating, and teamwork. You’ll rotate stock, assist the Bulk Manager, and help guests find what they need while upholding Sprouts’ friendly, fast-paced environment focused on fresh, healthy choices.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be dependable and reliable with ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Respect others and maintain Sprouts' culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Have a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Excellent communication and ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Perform repetitious tasks, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs. and move product across short distances for up to 15 hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, pack, and stock all bulk foods.
• Package, scale, fill and price bulk items; rotate product by date.
• Keep bulk area clean and sanitary in compliance with rules.
• Assist Bulk Manager as needed and stock merchandise throughout the day.
