Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Bulk Clerk to handle the maintenance, packing, and stocking of all bulk foods. You will follow the Bulk plan, package and price bulk items, and rotate stock by date while upholding sanitation standards.

You will deliver friendly, high-level customer service, assist the Bulk Manager, and help with unloading and stocking merchandise as needed. A positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule that changes, including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Respect for others and commitment to Sprouts culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills; ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to perform repetitious activities, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., from 4” to 36”, up to 4 feet, for up to 15 hours without mechanical assistance.
• Adhere to safety, health, OSHA and Weights and Measures regulations.
• Be able to perform other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, pack, and stock bulk foods following the merchandising Bulk plan; properly package and label bulk items.
• Rotate product by date and follow the sanitation program; ensure cleanliness of the Bulk area.
• Provide a high level of customer service and ensure Bulk items are properly prepared and presented.
• Assist the Bulk Manager and stock merchandise as needed throughout the day.
• Maintain equipment in safe working condition and handle receiving and unloading as needed.
