Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Operations or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years of leadership experience with direct reports, including experience leading managers.
• 8 years of operations experience in a large volume center environment.
• 1 year experience in creating and managing a budget.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the on-site management and leader of a Bulk Distribution Center (BDC).
• Responsible for the execution of all functions at the facility, including daily, weekly and annual operational planning and execution.
• Recruit, train, and manage up to a 250 employee workforce on multiple shifts.
• Assists associates with HR related issues including attendance, pay, benefits, job changes and related items.
• Recruits, hires, trains, develops, and retains effective shift management teams.
• Develops, implements, and measures effectiveness of associate training programs.
• Evaluates staffing needs to meet daily demand and adjusts personnel as needed.
• Communicates with Operations Managers and Supervisors regarding objectives, safety, issues and demand.
• Sets managers up for success to achieve KPIs, safety, performance and budget targets.
• Manage relationships with DCs, local community, suppliers, and corporate constituents.
• Develop and nurture a positive work environment for all Team Members.
• Ensure policies are followed and plans implemented.
• Demonstrate stewardship of corporate resources and solicit performance feedback.
• Build cross-functional relationships and delegate tasks to drive performance.
• Work with employees to set goals and provide feedback and coaching.
• Translate business plans into tactical action items and monitor progress.
• Identify improvement opportunities and lead change initiatives.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and areas kept neat and organized.
• Analyze procedures and implement ideas to improve productivity and reduce losses.
