Job summary

Fiesta Mart is seeking a Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk at the Houston-Wirt Road location to provide friendly service, stock and rotate cheese displays, and assist customers throughout shifts.

This role requires bilingual Spanish/English abilities, basic PC skills, ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and compliance with food handling standards. Two shifts available; the team emphasizes customer satisfaction and efficient store operations.

Qualifications

• Bilingual ability in Spanish and English for customer interaction and internal communications.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, and labels.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Strong verbal and written communication for one-on-one and small group settings.
• Ability to follow simple instructions and work with basic tools and processes.
• Must be able to lift 25–60 pounds as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous service to customers and assist with cheese and deli displays.
• Replenish and rotate products in the Bulk Deli under supervision.
• Support cleaning and organization of the Bulk Deli area throughout shifts.
• Work two shifts with focus on customer satisfaction and efficiency.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Under direct supervision, the Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk provides friendly, courteous and helpful service. This position assists customers, cleans, fills and rotates the cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli. The Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk position consists of two different shifts. The morning shift begins the day replenishing product, as instructed by the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Bulk Deli Manager, in a specifically assigned area. The Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk is responsible for assisting customers throughout the entire shift. The Bulk Deli Cheese Clerks will also maintain the cleanliness of the department throughout the shift. The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements. Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food.
