Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bulk Clerk to maintain, pack, and stock bulk foods while delivering excellent customer service. You will package, price, and present bulk items, rotate stock by dates, and uphold sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be dependable and reliable, with the ability to work a flexible schedule that may change, including night, weekends, and holidays.

• Have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with our customers.
• Have good communication skills and the ability to take direction and participate in a team environment.
• Be able to perform repetitious activities, multi‑task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Must vertically/horizontally transfer product weighing up to 50 lbs., from 4” to 36”, for a distance up to 4 feet for up to 15 hours without mechanical assistance.
• Adhere to all safety, health, OSHA and Weights and Measures regulations.
• Be able to perform other related duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Maintain, pack, and stock all bulk foods featured at Sprouts.
• Properly package and scale bulk items, fill bulk bins, and prepare, wrap, and price bulk packages.
• Rotate products using code dates and follow the company’s cleaning and sanitation program.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure bulk area is clean and well presented.
• Assist the Bulk Manager as needed and maintain equipment in safe working condition.
