Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bulk Clerk to handle heavy loads, pack and stock bulk foods, and ensure attractive, well-priced displays in a high-traffic department. You will follow the Bulk plan, properly packaging items and rotating stock while keeping the area clean and organized for customers.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, teamwork, and safety. Lifting up to 50 lbs., flexible hours, and adherence to regulations are required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be dependable and reliable with flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain respect for others and uphold Sprouts' culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Have a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction in a team.
• Able to perform repetitious tasks, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs., and move product up to 4 feet for up to 15 hours without assistance.
• Adhere to safety, OSHA and Weights and Measures regulations.
• Be able to perform other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, pack and stock all bulk foods.
• Package, wrap and price bulk items accurately and legibly.
• Rotate product using code dates and follow sanitation program.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure bulk area cleanliness.
• Assist Bulk Manager as needed and maintain equipment in safe condition.
• Receive, unload and stock merchandise as needed.
