Job summary

Quality Carriers, Inc. is seeking a Load Planner in Jonesboro, GA to coordinate load planning and freight movement, maximizing profitability and asset use. You will interact with customers and internal teams, communicating clearly and handling on-call duties as needed.

The role requires 2–3 years in chemical bulk transportation, strong organizational abilities, and knowledge of DOT requirements. Work hours are Monday–Friday with potential shift variations, and travel to Tampa or other QC

Qualifications

• 2-3 years chemical bulk transportation industry experience in a dispatcher or transportation operations position.
• Knowledge of lanes and rates and DOT requirements.
• Experience with safety procedures and use of computers/office software.

Responsibilities

• Create daily schedules and obtain backhauls for assets using driver calendars, yard checks, orders and maintenance reports.
• Match drivers to loads to optimize hours and revenue per day.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, inspections and repairs to keep equipment compliant.
• Oversee tank wash process and confirm product compatibility and ETA.
• Monitor terminal freight and coordinate with Central Scheduling and trailer pool to ensure service.
• Track load matching data and complete related tasks.
