Job summary

Coca-Cola Consolidated is hiring a Bulk Account Merchandiser Specialist to support the POD Model in the One Tier Sales Strategy. This role provides vacation coverage for the Bulk Account Merchandiser and Merchandiser, coordinating with customers, merchandisers, and drivers on efficient route coverage and inventory management.

The position emphasizes executing promotions, maintaining displays, and building strong retailer relationships in a fast-paced, variable environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 years of work experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandise, and rotates products on display and the shelf.
• Manages, sells, and executes in an assigned group of customers on daily routes and generates sales orders.
• Executes applicable promotions and new products to ensure excellence in RED scores for assigned customers.
• Organizes and maintains back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor, arranging returns of pallets and damaged/out-of-date product.
• Creates and distributes point-of-sale materials on display and shelves where permitted.
• Fosters business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests, proactive pricing, and upcoming activities.
• May be the first call point for late PM/early AM weekends ensuring proper route coverage and liaison for orders and inventory.
• Identifies and communicates competitive issues or market activities that could impact the business and ensures safe work practice.
