Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of buildings structural engineering experience is required.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred.
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and structural engineering software (RISA 3D, MathCAD, TEDDS, RAM Analysis) as well as Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential.

Responsabilités

• Participate in the development of preliminary structural design concepts and assist with evaluating design alternatives to support project goals, constructability, and cost considerations.
• Assist in preparing structural calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction documents for a variety of building and facility projects under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Identify and resolve technical discrepancies in engineering analyses and design documents while following established quality control procedures.
• Develop familiarity with applicable building codes, industry standards, and federal, state, and local regulations, as well as CHA and client requirements.
• Participate in field visits and assessments alongside senior staff to gain hands-on experience evaluating existing structures, documenting conditions, and supporting project planning and design efforts.
