Job summary

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineer – Buildings in Philadelphia, PA. This hybrid role centers on designing advanced building electrical systems with a focus on performance, sustainability, and aesthetics.

You will lead design efforts, perform calculations and simulations, and collaborate with architects and construction teams to deliver projects from concept to completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Licensed P.Eng. or PE, or actively pursuing registration is desirable.
• Between 6–12 years of experience designing electrical systems for buildings (commercial, residential, institutional, industrial).
• Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and electrical modeling software.
• Solid understanding of building codes, NEC, NFPA, and local regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and integration of electrical systems in complex building projects.
• Perform load calculations, system simulations, and evaluations to deliver high-efficiency solutions.
• Prepare detailed construction documents, specifications, and drawings using Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and related tools.
• Conduct field assessments, building condition reviews, and zoning research to inform designs.
• Oversee shop drawing reviews, submittals, and technical deliverables to ensure engineering accuracy.
