Qualifications

• BSEE required.
• 10+ years of experience designing and leading design teams for building electrical systems.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of complex building electrical systems across all project phases.
• Manage and mentor design teams, providing technical oversight and quality assurance.
• Design and coordinate systems including utility interconnections, medium-voltage distribution, standby and prime power generation, UPS systems, photovoltaic power systems, lighting, fire alarm, grounding, and lightning protection.
• Perform and oversee power system studies including short circuit, load flow, power quality, harmonic analysis, and arc flash analysis using SKM Systems Analysis and/or EasyPower.
• Develop electrical master plans and support long-term infrastructure strategies.
• Support cogeneration, prime-rated power, and renewable energy system integration, including PPA coordination.
• Collaborate with architects, owners, utilities, and contractors to resolve technical challenges.
• Provide utility rebate support and contribute to sustainable design strategies, including LEED, LBC, PHIUS, and WELL certifications.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and project coordination efforts.
