Job summary

TalentSphere, a national engineering consulting firm, seeks an Electrical Engineer for Buildings in Philadelphia, PA. Hybrid and flexible work options are available, with a salary range of $90,000 to $125,000 annually.

The role focuses on designing advanced building electrical systems that balance performance, sustainability, and aesthetics within a multidisciplinary team. You will lead design, analysis, and documentation using Revit MEP and AutoCAD, collaborate with architects and construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Licensed P.Eng. or PE, or actively pursuing registration; open to Electrical Designers
• Between 6--12 years of experience designing electrical systems for buildings
• Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and electrical modeling software.
• Solid understanding of building codes, NEC, NFPA, and local regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and integration of electrical systems in complex building projects, ensuring alignment with codes, safety standards, and client expectations.
• Perform load calculations, system simulations, and technical evaluations to deliver cost-effective, high-efficiency solutions.
• Prepare detailed construction documents, specifications, and engineering drawings using Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and other cutting-edge tools.
• Conduct field assessments, building condition reviews, and zoning research to inform and refine designs.
• Oversee shop drawing reviews, contractor submittals, and technical deliverables to maintain engineering accuracy.
