Job summary

Mountain Creek in Vernon, NJ is seeking a Buildings and Grounds Technician to perform day-to-day maintenance across the resort, including plumbing, electrical work and carpentry. This on-site position, reporting to the Buildings and Grounds Manager, offers a pay rate of $20.00–$22.00 hourly.

Applicants should have a High School diploma, strong mechanical aptitude with plumbing and HVAC skills, be able to lift over 50 lbs, hold a valid driver’s license, and be willing to work weekends, overtime

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Strong plumbing and HVAC skills required.
• Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
• Applicant must be able to work flexible schedule, including weekends in-season, and overtime when needed.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Trade school or 2-5 years work experience in the field.
• Able to read and interpret instructions and manuals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform day to day general maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electric, and carpentry).
• Preventative maintenance of all systems (i.e. Heating, air conditioning).
• Be able to respond to work orders and directions in a timely manner.
• Tree trimming as needed.
• Be able to interact with other departments to accomplish Resort objectives.
• Work in a safe manner protecting both yourself and others.
• Troubleshoot and repair all systems.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.

How the Buildings and Grounds Technician works with the Team:

The Buildings and Grounds Technician is responsible for day-to-day general maintenance of the resort, including but not limited to plumbing, electric, carpentry, and troubleshooting all systems.

Team Member Responsibilities:
