Job summary

JLL is seeking an Utilities Maintenance Technician to join our Bloomington, IN team. The role involves supervising refrigeration, boiler systems, and emergency backup systems, with day and night shift options as required.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot operational issues, and coordinate with the Chief Engineer to ensure reliable building operations. The ideal candidate has at least two years in related trades, knowledge of building automation, and comfortable with working

Qualifications

Two years of related trade schooling or two years of work involving chillers and boilers is preferred.
Experience with plumbing systems and basic repairs is beneficial.
Familiarity with electrical systems and ability to perform minor electrical repairs.
Understanding of building automation systems.
Troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Oversee operation of refrigeration, water cooling, and boilers; monitor readings and adjust as needed.
Perform preventive maintenance on base building and critical systems; document work and materials.
Assist other mechanics with major repairs and maintenance.
Maintain logs and report issues to Chief Engineer or Supervisor.
Work safely with required PPE and comply with safety standards.
Order materials as needed and work in high places or confined spaces as required.
