Job summary

Aeon is seeking a Building Technician for Elliot Court in Minneapolis, MN. This position focuses on keeping common areas clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and staff, with hands-on cleaning, groundskeeping, trash removal, and basic maintenance.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with no on-call responsibilities and on-site work at the property. A commitment to excellent service and independence is essential, along with the ability to work well with diverse residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to communicate respectfully with residents and staff.

• Willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of hallways, common spaces, offices, restrooms, and shared areas.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks: vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing, glass cleaning.
• Address upkeep needs as they arise throughout the day.
• Assist with groundskeeping, trash removal, and exterior upkeep.
• Support with seasonal tasks including light snow removal and salting.
