Job summary

Stantec Buildings is seeking motivated engineering design students to support a range of projects under Senior Engineer/Designer guidance. You will assist on telecom, security, and AV designs, work with Revit and CADD, and contribute to field evaluations of sites.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural or Electrical Engineering, with a strong drafting mindset and collaborative work style. This internship offers exposure to multiple project disciplines within Stantec.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CADD with basic understanding of Revit and AutoCAD, and the use of it as a drafting/design tool.
• Ability to participate and collaborate in a project team setting.
• Ability to take direction, follow process and accept feedback and suggestions from senior engineers/designers.

Responsibilities

• Production of CADD drawings.
• Perform field work (evaluation of existing sites) as directed by senior engineer/designer.
• Participation in Technology design including telecom, security, and Audio-Visual systems.
• Assists with engineering duties on projects of various complexity.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the senior engineering staff.
