Job summary

HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center is seeking a Building Systems Technician to manage daily operation, preventative and corrective maintenance for power plant and HVAC equipment across the campus. You will troubleshoot, test, inspect, and repair a wide range of building systems to ensure uninterrupted service to patients and staff.

The role requires independent work with minimal supervision, strong communication, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or vocational training preferred.
• Technical training diploma/degree or related certifications preferred.
• Electronic controls certification or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates power plant and HVAC systems; documents work in CMMS.
• Repairs, tests, and maintains medical and non-medical building equipment and systems.
• Conducts daily inspections of boilers, pipelines, and pressure vessels; maintains safe operation.
