Job summary

AtWork Group is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the daily operation and upkeep of properties. You will perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on various systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. Strong customer service skills are essential for responding to tenant requests.

The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma or GED, with trade or technical training preferred. This role requires participation in an on-call rotation and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Competitive hourly pay ranges from $23 to $27.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
• Basic computer skills and experience with work order systems.
• CFC Universal Certification preferred or obtainable within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Complete preventive maintenance and document work in the work order system.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and grounds; identify and resolve safety or maintenance issues.
• Respond to tenant service requests and emergency calls in a timely manner.
• Maintain fire and life safety systems, including alarms and emergency equipment.
• Perform general building upkeep such as lighting, doors, painting, and minor carpentry.
• Support seasonal operations and participate in an on-call rotation.
