Job summary

CBRE seeks a General Maintenance Technician to maintain small to medium-sized buildings and industrial systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and support repairs under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and ability to lift 50 lbs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong organizational and communication skills are desired.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs+ and meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose problems, and repair.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and track completion.
• Paint walls and patch drywall as needed.
• Support energy management by ensuring systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for code and safety compliance.
• Use procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
• Contribute to team through defined duties and tasks under supervision and guidance.
• Deliver outputs following defined processes under close supervision.
