Job summary

CBRE, a global leader in commercial real estate services, seeks a Maintenance Technician to oversee upkeep of small to mid-size buildings and industrial systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure safety compliance.

Role involves routine inspections, equipment installations, and energy-management support under supervision. Requires 4–5 years of related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent, with strong MS Office skills and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and perform physical tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
• Willingness to adopt new perspectives on existing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, diagnose problems, and implement repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and coordinate to ensure timely completion.
• Support energy management by maintaining efficient building operations.
• Inspect installations for code and safety compliance.
• Follow defined procedures to deliver outputs under supervision.
