Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service small to medium-sized buildings and industrial systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair building equipment under supervision while ensuring safety compliance and efficient operation.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of related experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift heavy loads. Proficiency with MS Office and a proactive approach to problem solving are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years of related experience or combination of experience and education.
• Must be able to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders and lift 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Good communication skills for exchanging straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Inspect and diagnose potential problems and perform necessary repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and track completion in coordination with systems.
• Support energy management by maintaining efficient operation of building systems.
• Ensure installations comply with building codes and safety regulations.
• Follow defined procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
