Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Building Engineer to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems at the Wendell property. You will perform rounds, preventive maintenance, and repairs to keep facilities in top condition while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial building maintenance, relevant licenses, and strong knowledge of HVAC and energy management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of related building maintenance experience.
• License/permit for trade may be required.
• Experience with HVAC, boilers, pumps and refrigerant systems.
• Energy management knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical, or HVAC maintenance for building(s).
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, pumps, and air distribution systems.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical/pneumatic equipment and control systems.
• Respond to emergencies and safety inspections as needed.
• Document activities and report to supervisor.
