Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services in Evansville, IN, is seeking a maintenance-focused professional to operate, replace, repair and service building mechanical, electrical, control/BMS systems. The role includes handling heavy equipment, responding to service calls, and ensuring preventive maintenance is completed safely and on schedule.

You will oversee technicians and contractors, coordinate with account teams and stakeholders, and maintain BAS, pumps, HVAC components and related systems on site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Completion of a Universal Certification or HVAC program is required.
• Experience repairing building electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems; basic carpentry skills.
• Must have English reading/writing proficiency.
• Strong safety practices and procedures knowledge is required.
• Ability to wear respirator, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, replacement, repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and BAS systems.
• Maintain preventive maintenance programs and oversee on-demand work orders.
• Manage tool department, spare parts, and craft workforce coordination.
• Oversee water treatment programs and plant utilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs and proper lockout/tag-out procedures.
• Operate and monitor Building Automation Systems and CMMS logbooks.
