Job summary

ISG is seeking a Building Engineer in Denver to oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems for a commercial office building. You will ensure systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with manufacturer specifications while coordinating external contractors and tenant communications.

The role includes energy management, safety inspections, and maintaining detailed records, with on-call rotation and adherence to OSHA/NFPA standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of building maintenance experience, including 3 years in a commercial office.
• Strong knowledge of boilers, chillers, pumps, elevators, and building automation systems.
• Vocational training or certification in building systems preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate with tenants.
• Familiarity with OSHA and NFPA life-safety codes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain key building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection).
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
• Conduct regular inspections of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors for specialized tasks.
• Respond to tenant service requests and communicate maintenance schedules.
