Job summary

JLL seeks an Operating/Building Engineer to keep facilities running at peak performance. You will operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Electrical, Boiler, and HVAC systems, ensuring compliance and reliability for our clients.

Location is on-site in the Charleston area, with occasional site assignments to North Charleston or Ladson. 5+ years of experience and strong BAS/Controls expertise are required along with CMMS experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Electrician, Boiler Operator/Tech or HVAC/Controls in commercial buildings.
• Expertise in Electrical, Boiler, HVAC systems and Building Automation/Controls.
• Ability to analyze complex building systems and take corrective action.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Electrical, Boiler, HVAC/Controls to standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, BAS, and control equipment.
• Monitor boiler operations, combustion, water treatment, safety systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, and VFDs.
• Work with BAS to optimize HVAC controls and sequences.
